Germany hit back
Following Fifa’s ban of the One Love armband set to be used by a number of nations who wished to highlight LGBTQ+ rights in Qatar, Germany have performed a silent protest.
Hansi Flick’s side were one of the seven European nations that planned on wearing the One Love armband.
It meant captain Manuel Neuer walked out with the regular generic ‘No Discrimination’ version instead.
